Wind Pump Restoration
Today we start work on a 37 Type Climax wind pump. We will be reinforcing its feet, changing some rotten supports, general maintenance such as changing the oil in the Climax oil bath gearbox, renewing shafts, makings new leather gaskets for the well pump, restoring and Cleaning the well to create a working wind pump
A drilled Borehole within a Well. Duke & Ockenden
Ok not just one but two. We have been a tad busy the past few weeks with 2 original Duke and Ockenden (D and O / Dando) drilled boreholes. They were drilled within a hand dug well so I expect there was drought one year and instead of digging the well deeper it was far
Glass top and site visits
Glass well top gone on today along with two site visits done. One lovely old hand pump in need of restoration and a disused well wanting to be used within the house for all water usage. Heading home now after a long but successful day.

Lift And Force Well Pump
We will be installing a lift and force pump into a well next week. The pump is made of brass with leather gaskets and lead weights for non return valves. The handle is cast iron. We will be installing the pump 15 feet into a well using Oak or Elm beams. Keep checking back as
