Very Old Belt Driven Well Pump

This is a project we done last year. I have uploaded the video now to show the working of an old pump. This was before it was stripped and rebuilt. There would have been a rod which would have been connected to a hand dug water well pump to pump water from the well.

There would have been a belt connected to the wheel which would have been driven by a steam engine, stationary engine or windmill. Earlier versions were donkey/horse driven.
